River Edge Behavioral Health Appoints Shane L. Hester as Chief Financial Officer

MACON - Shane L. Hester, CPA has accepted the role of Chief Financial Officer for River Edge Behavioral Health upon the retirement of his predecessor after 20 years of service. Licensed as a Georgia CPA for more than 15 years, Mr. Hester had served as River Edge Director of Finance since 2018.
“Shane’s breadth of experience will make River Edge even stronger,” said Dr. Shannon Terrell Gordon, Chief Executive Officer of River Edge Behavioral Health. “He brings extensive regional and “Big 4” international accounting, risk advisory as well as operational consulting experience for Global 1000, Fortune 500 and regional companies to his new role. We are grateful he chooses to help lead the River Edge team into our bright and growing future.”
Raised in Fort Valley, Shane, his wife and their three children currently reside in Perry.
