River Edge to Support Spring Prom for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
River Edge Behavioral Health Center Developmental Disabilities Services will support a spring prom Friday, April 10 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lundy Chapel Missionary Baptist Church on Forest Hill Road located at 2081 Forest Hill Road for individuals in their program.
The Inspirational Leaders, a consumer interest group that plans activities of interest for individuals with developmental disabilities, planned the event. The group is comprised of members who are served by River Edge Behavioral Health Center Developmental Disabilities Services.
Miss Wheelchair USA Yvette Pegues will be on hand to crown the prom king and queen of the festivities.
River Edge has locations in four counties—Bibb, Jones, Monroe and Twiggs—to serve Central Georgians with developmental disabilities, including programs for seniors and residential care options. Staff strive to create customized care plans for each client to ensure the fullest possible participation in recreational, volunteer and even employment activities.
