Doster Reappointed to River Edge Board
The Monroe County Commission has reappointed native resident Dr. Priscilla Doster to serve a three-year term on the River Edge Behavioral Health Center board of directors.
“We are delighted that we can continue our work with Dr. Doster as part of our team,” said Shannon Harvey, CEO of River Edge. “She provides a continuity of knowledge gleaned from previous board experience, and her years as an educator and extensive community service lend valuable insight to our organization.”
A graduate of the University of Georgia and Georgia State University, Doster began her career as an educator in the DeKalb County School System in 1972 before returning home to the Monroe County School System in 1978 where she remained until her retirement in 2001. Currently, she works as an independent education consultant and is an instructor in Genealogy at the Wesleyan Academy for Lifelong Learning. She spends as much time as possible with her family and in service to her hometown.
